WhatsApp train status: Indian Railway has introduced a special feature for WhatsApp users. Now you can get all the details of the railway on Whatsapp. Considering the growing popularity of Whatsapp, Indian Railways has taken this decision.
Indian Railways have signed a tour and travel company Make My Trip and issued the Whatsapp number through which the information asked about trains will be available on your mobile phone in less than 10 seconds.
How To Check Live Train Status Over Whatsapp
Passengers can get information on ticketing, ticket booking, ticket cancellation and train number information on the phone via Whatsapp number. So far, for this kind of information the passengers had to call Indian Railways number 139 but now they will be no need of this.
Follow My Steps:
Step 1. First of all, you have to make sure that you have the latest and updated version of Whatsapp installed on your smartphone.
Step 2. WhatsApp does not allow to send the message without saving any contact in your smartphone. So, you have to save the Make My Trip Phone No. that is 7349389104.
Step 3. Open the Make my trip chat screen on WhatsApp. Enter a specific train number to check live train running status and schedule. In my case, I entered train no. 13022 and get all the status about my train.
Step 4. Similarly, you can check your booking status by entering the PNR number. MakeMyTrip should respond with your real-time booking status. As shown in the above Screen Shot.
In case if your message doesn’t receive two ticks, then make sure your mobile data or Wi-Fi connection is working properly.
